Numerous industries setting record highs in revenue over the last couple of years along with record low unemployment in every demographic and record high stock market. Almost like we elected a President recently whose policies and leadership have begun to unlock our economic potential.

I didn't contribute 1 cent to the music industry the last few years.

I don't think I've spent money on music in any way (other than a concert) in a decade or more.manchild98 wrote:I didn't contribute 1 cent to the music industry the last few years.
Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are dumber than that.

I pay for Apple Music. Does that go towards the music industry?Robceltsfan wrote:I don't think I've spent money on music in any way (other than a concert) in a decade or more.manchild98 wrote:I didn't contribute 1 cent to the music industry the last few years.
Also, if you're listening to Pandora or Spotify with ads, you're contributing to the music industry.

Yeah....guess that's true. But I don't "pay" for any music services.Kingcarl24 wrote:I pay for Apple Music. I only listen to music if I'm in the car and even then I just listen to whatever is on the radio. I'm usually never in my car for more than 10 minutes at a time. I don't even listen to music when I work out.Kingcarl24 wrote:I pay for Apple Music. I pay for Amazon, YT Premium, and Pandora Plus if any of that counts, which reminds me I need to cancel that shit. I stopped going to pandora a while back.

It's really not. I use the free spotify with ads at work and it's way better than Apple Music. I've been meaning to changing for awhile. The recommendations from Apple Music never is music that really interests me.Madnessssss wrote:I pay for and use Spotify, which I highly recommended. Worth every penny. Apple music is probably just as good.

I’m subscribed to Spotify, and I regularly buy single songs that I like on iTunes. If I can’t find it on iTunes then I’ll just convert the YouTube vid to an mp3 file.

Because I don’t use it TBH. It’s for my wife and kids.Madnessssss wrote:Why not just save it to a playlist on Spotify? You can listen to it unlimited times whenever you want, even download it so it works without WiFi or lteLNS wrote:I’m subscribed to Spotify, and I regularly buy single songs that I like on iTunes. Yeah it's weird. They're recommendations are normally terrible. I use it a lot too so you'd think they'd figure it out but they haven't yet. Unless you really like pop music or rap, Apple isn't the way to go for me.Max. wrote:Really? Apple Music is the only one I don't actually mind paying for.Kingcarl24 wrote:It's really not.
