Soooo my mother in law carved a pumpkin...

Post by LNS »

Jesus where to even begin? First off she didn’t scoop out the seeds and pulp, she clearly had some trouble following her own outlines when carving, and it appears she gave up about 3/4 of the way through. I asked my wife if maybe she had a stroke and we should take her to get looked at? :noidea:

Trying to blame your mother in law for that atrocity when that pumpkins has your fingerprints all over it.

I can't wrap presents.

It's become a running joke so now I play into it some, but I just don't have the patience to do it right and neat.

So I just do it animal-style. Everyone has a good LOL over it, but I really have a mental block over it.

My kids and wife are really into the templates and pre drawn patterns for fancy jack o lanterns. The problem is that my 6 year old can’t cut out those designs so I end up doing all of it. I can’t stand them. I like the end product but really I just want the old fashion pumpkins.

Same here. It’s an annual thing with all the sisters nieces and nephews gathered around our gift exchange tree to lol @ House. Like you, I play to it now by wrapping at least one absolutely atrociously to remind my wife I’m not participating in any type of wrap party that Christmas.

They’re all getting older now though so we’re transitioning into that whole “here’s some cash, spend it wisely” phase.

Honestly, it looks like someone said let's do a pumpkin with down syndrome.

I didn't do one this season. I was not inspired to participate with folks here at work...
