I was told Curry > Durant
I wonder if this series has brought those people to their senses?
Re: I was told Curry > Durant
Durant isn't even playing, how good can he be right now?

KD hasn’t missed a shot yet in the Finals.

Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are dumber than that.

That's how dumb these Durant fans are especially that doofus, LNS.
Re: I was told Curry > Durant
Curry can beat the shit out of Lebron with or without KD, but apparently it’s a different story when it’s against Kawhi.
Re: I was told Curry > Durant
Without Durant, Curry beat a depleted Cavs team you idiot.LNS wrote:Curry can beat the shit out of Lebron with or without KD, but apparently it’s a different story when it’s against Kawhi.

There are multiple people on this board that believe it. It’s retarded yes but they believe it nonetheless

What does this series prove to the contrary? Do you think the Warriors would be in a better position right now with KD and no Curry over the last month?

Re: I was told Curry > Durant
-Since 2015, the Warriors are 23-22 when Curry doesn't play (Durant joined the team in 2017).
-Since Durant joined the Warriors, they are 24-1 in regular season games where Durant sits and Curry plays.
-In playoff games, they are 6-3 (7-3 if you count the game against Houston where Durant got injured and Curry took over in the 4th quarter).
-Since Durant joined the Warriors, Curry, Thompson, Durant, and Green have played 1,921 minutes together. During that span they are...
+16.9 per 100 possessions with all 4 on the floor (which is insane)
+14.8 with Curry, Thompson, and Green (sans Durant: 672 minutes)
+13.9 with Curry and Green (sans Durant and Thompson: 526 minutes)
+14.3 with Curry (sans Durant, Green, and Thompson: 216 minutes)
+4.9 with Durant, Green, and Thompson (sans Curry: 591 minutes)
-.5 with Durant (sans Curry, Green, and Thompson: 417 minutes)
-4.3 with Thompson (sans Curry, Durant, and Green: 402 minutes)
-2.0 with Green (sans Durant, Curry, and Thompson: 209 minutes)
Draw your own conclusions.

My conclusion is that they’re currently losing 3-1 without him in the Finals.

They had a great run. I only remember the '88 and '89 Super Bowls for the 49ers, and even though the Giants won 3 titles in 5 years, they were never a juggernaut and/or dynasty (they didn't even make the playoffs in '11 and '13, and were the wildcard in '10 and '14), so this was the most dynastic/dominant run I've witnessed by one of my favorite teams.
It would have been nice to get one more, but It was still pretty awesome...

You can say what you want about advanced analytics or "Blog Boys" as KD calls them, but in this situation that does say something.rtiff68 wrote:-Since 2015, the Warriors are 23-22 when Curry doesn't play (Durant joined the team in 2017).

I believe KD is the superior basketball player for the record, but for the Warriors Curry is more valuable in their schematic style.
Yes, KD got the 2 FMVPs when they beat the Cavs but that doesn't tell the entire story.

My only argument is when both are on the floor who's the better player.
