Even after last night, Curry still has a sizable lead over Wiggins. He’s still averaging 30 and doing so more efficiently.Robceltsfan wrote: ↑Tue Jun 14, 2022 9:02 amYou should be. You know of anyone else that called Wiggins for Finals MVP?

If they have similar performances in a closeout game as they did last night.....I think it's about a toss up.gaskill15 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 14, 2022 9:58 amEven after last night, Curry still has a sizable lead over Wiggins. But I agree, Curry is still in the lead.
Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are dumber than that.

Rob in here trying to take solace that he called who might win FMVP against his C’s.

The greatest 3pt shooter in league history went 0-9 last night but is still at 42% for the series. Goddamn.

Guys, Curry is 100 percent winning FMVP if the Warriors win.
Wiggins can have two more all-star level games to Curry's two more dud games and Curry would still win.
Curry could blow out his knee in the first minute of G6 and still win it.
Curry has an average game score to date that's 8 points higher than Wiggins.
For a reference point, the current gap between Curry and Wiggins is larger on that metric than the gap between Wiggins and Draymond.

Check out Curry's stats vs Iggy's in 2015. Curry averaged 10 points more than Iggy that Finals. (26 to 16).

He was also way, way, way less efficient than 2022 (to-date). Him and Iggy actually had the same TS% in the Finals.PhutureDynasty wrote: ↑Wed Jun 15, 2022 12:21 am

Average game score to date 21.5 to 17.9 in 2015. Closest peer was/is 13.6 in both cases.
Beyond that, the media is dying to give it to Steph. Anything between the boundaries of "well, it's kinda close and you could argue for Curry or Wiggins equally" to "Curry in a rout" is going to send the award to Steph.
Wiggins would have to be the *clear* winner to win it this time out. And the "Wiggins is finally (sort of) justifying his number 1 selection" narrative is weaker than the narrative that Iggy locked down Lebron and swung the series defensively.
I took a look at the Vegas odds and they seem to be -320 for Steph and +1400 for Wiggins.
That's actually closer than I would have guessed, but an implied odds of about 6-7 percent...I assume that is more or less entirely covered by the likelihood of Steph interacting with injury and missing time or bottoming out due to injury.

I can't read. I initially read your post I responded to as game points and thought you meant PPG.Bush4Ever. wrote: ↑Wed Jun 15, 2022 12:34 amHe was also way, way, way less efficient than 2022 (to-date). How is it possible you keep getting the date the game is played on wrong? You thought game 5 was on Sunday now you think game 6 is on Wednesday. Seek help.

You "mistyped" Wed, when you meant Thu? You did the same thing Sunday. Put down the bong.

I’ve been trying to understand linking wedding chapels to Thursdays for 4 hours now and came up empty. What am I missing?
