Yeah I'm sure they're going to come to Gaza's defense *now* that the IDF is in control of Northern Gaza and most of Hamas' capabilities have already been wiped out, with more of their weapons depots and tunnels being turned to rubble by the minute.

In retrospect, Israel's strategy was amazing. Never actually announced or rang in a ground invasion. Just bided their time so that as the days and weeks went by and retards openly speculated that rain or other things were delaying them, they prepared by positioning deterrent reservists along the northern border, moving tanks/supplies to the south, getting new shipments of iron dome missiles and bombs from the USA, and unleashing numerous targeted air strikes, all while Hamas hid in their tunnels burning away resources. The mission into Gaza happened so slowly that Israel robbed Hezbollah or any other bad actor of a catalyst event to respond to. Just a slow drip, more and more soldiers gradually entering gaza daily, gradually cutting Gaza in half, separating the north from the south, surrounding gaza city and narrowing in on their base under al shifa hospital. The iron is ice cold for Hezbollah or anyone else who may have had interest in helping Hamas or attacking Israel in any meaningful way. Now Israel has them over a barrel and the only question is who will govern Gaza in Hamas' wake.
