I have not although you're not the first to tell me the show has picked up. I watched the first few episodes of the first season but it didn't grab me. I'll probably binge watch it later.Kingcarl24 wrote:I agree on Doomsday's look. This is freakin Doomsday. The monster that killed Superman. He hardly looks intimidating at all in that trailer. I will wait and see but so far his design is meh. (If I'm being honest, I'm not impressed with Thanos or Apocalypse's look either).
Speaking of Batman, have either of you been watching Gotham? I thought the first season was alright but this 2nd season has actually been pretty awesome and fun to watch. The Jerome character was really well done and such a good setup for the Joker later on. The Riddler's back story and it's build up has been great as well. I wasn't super into the show at first but I thoroughly enjoy it now.

It was a rough start. Between the bad acting (Donal Logue) and the overacting (Jada Pinkett Smith), it was a mess. I stayed with it because, well, it's Batman and it eventually got better. The 2nd season has been enjoyable though.Kobeunderbite wrote:I haven't watched Gotham since the second episode of the series tbh

Maybe I'll pick it up at some point. I've been told I made the wrong call on the Flash as well.
Have you watched any Jessica Jones?

I really like Flash and the Arrow but they are very much CW shows. Just keep that in mind.Kobeunderbite wrote:Kingcarl24 wrote:It was a rough start. I've watched the first 3 episodes of Jessica Jones. I like it so far. Kilgrave is an awesome bad guy.
Re: Batman v Superman Trailer
come on...they have to expand the character some how to make him interesting...that is where they ran into problem.Kobeunderbite wrote:Macrotus wrote:that is why I said MOST...I & II were great. But after that it's very mediocre cause his character is very limited and one dimensional.Kobeunderbite wrote:
Superman I and II were two of the greatest movies ever. When the proper Superman tone is captured, Superman is great, in any form of media.
If they just stuck to that one dimension there wouldn't be any problems.

Thoughts: I'm hoping B vs S isn't a Man of Steel/Transformers Age of Extinction mash up. Superman has been my comic book hero since I was a little dude. Man of Steel was alright, but should have been soooo muhhhhch behhhterrr.
Gotham: Maybe I'll check out the 2nd season. Haven't watched a second of the show.
Flash: Decent, not as corny/soap opery as Arrow.
Jessica Jones: Slightly disappointed. Kilgrave is a great bad dude. I'm 10 episodes in - episode 8 has been by far the best. Episodes 9 and 10 frustrated the hell out of me. I can suspend reality with super hero abilities, but I have a tough time suspending reality when it comes to common sense... The twins story line is lame and the twin chick is ridiculously annoying.
