You can't "confirm" with 100 percent accuracy that the Sun will come up tomorrow. But there is a metric ton of evidence to suggest it will, and none that suggests it won't.

The gap between Lebron and Pippen in scoring ability is several times greater than the gap between them on defense.

It's a big, big jump from 20ppg (usually as the second guy) to 28+ ppg on great percentages as the first guy.

I disagree. Pippen had to play second fiddle to the greatest players since Russell and so his numbers suffered. (He was outside his prime when he went to Portland etc)

Pippen was 34 when he went to Portland, and played in all 82 games with a pedestrian 12/6/4 (lol). Being relatively healthy enough to play every game, at an age where when Kobe at 34 was making All NBA 1st Team averaging 27/6/6 and clutching up on free throws with an amputated heel tendon, the "out of his prime" excuse holds no water with me if we're gauging his level of greatness (or making excuses for his mediocrity).

Kobe at 21 years old, not anywhere near his prime yet himself, schooled Pippen in the 2000 WCFs like a little bitch to the point Pippen's coach had to take the Pippen's single coverage off Kobe and instead threw the Bonzi Wells/Steve Smith combo at him lol. And some people here actually want to say with a straight face that Pippen would be a star in "today's NBA" or that he's anywhere near a Kobe or Lebron level?

Hitting .202 is fully acceptable.........if you're popping off 40 HRs a year. Jordan was really bad. Batting .202 in Double-A is nothing to write home about.
