I never said Wade should be on the all-time list now. What I did say is that he should start being considered now, especially if we're also considering guys like Malone and Barkley. Being the greatest shot blocking guard of all-time may not make an enormous difference in the overall scheme of things, but there should be no dispute about it if we're assessing it based on the numbers.

I never said Wade should be on the all-time list now. What I did say is that he should start being considered now, especially if we're also considering guys like Malone and Barkley. Being the greatest shot blocking guard of all-time may not make an enormous difference in the overall scheme of things, but there should be no dispute about it if we're assessing it based on the numbers.

I have no problem putting Wade ahead of guys like Malone and Barkley. In fact i would prefer it.

To be fair, the greatest shot blocking guard isn't much of a resume boost just as the best 3 point shooting center wouldn't be either. It's a cool piece of trivia but doesn't really boost them in the rankings. D-wade will be top 25-30 though most likely, his short prime is what hurts him in this discussion

This. D-Wade is/was a great shot blocker, but that's a shot blocker at the 2 where the impact is minimal and it really isn't expected of you.

I have Barkley, Malone, Garnett, and possibly dirk over wade despite wades greater team success. His prime was just cut way too short

I went with Jerry West in this round. KG is definitely a logical pick for me next round though.
