Don't even try it anymore bro. It's an exercise in futility.

Hard to argue either way, Trying to compare 2 different positions. Jordan is beat in rebounds and blocks. Jordan wins ppg, assists, steals, less turnovers.

Kareem had more assists, too.

I take it you don't understand what "Career stats" means?

That is what the thread is about.

If you go per game, Kareem and Jordan averaged the same Turnover numbers, and Jordan would only win PPG and APG. That's it. And Jordan shot the ball 5 more times a game on a lower % than Kareem. Kareem also played 2 fewer minutes per game.

Kareem likely has more Turnovers per game if they kept track his few few seasons while he was average 3+ the first 7 seasons of his that they kept track of. Obviously if you go by Total it's Kareem, he played more years.

Jordan might be the greatest all time but most would choose the dominant big over the dominant perimeter player maybe every day of the week.

He's the GOAT but just doesn't have the TOTAL career stats. Kareem has that but comes in at #2 or # all time.

Jordan's not the GOAT. Russell and Kareem had a better basketball career and made more of an impact to their teams than Jordan.

Yeah MJ is definitely GOAT. It's slightly debatable but not much. MJ had a biggest impact on his team than them. They had much better teammates around him. MJ has better career averages also. Russell was a good defensive player but nothing remotely close to MJ offensively and neither have the clutch factor that MJ did.

Yeah MJ is definitely GOAT. It's slightly debatable but not much. MJ had a biggest impact on his team than them. They had much better teammates around him. MJ has better career averages also. LOL. This is laughably homeristic.

Russell on Defense > Jordan on Offense.

And stop playing like Jordan didn't have great teammates. They won 50+ the year Jordan quit/was suspended on them.

You think Jordan had teammates most of his career comparable to the lakers?

I certainly didn't say that. I just said stop trying to downplay Jordans supporting cast. They were very very good.

Half his years in Chicago they weren't shit compared to what Kareem had. Jordan in the clutch offensively > Russell period.
