Cilic out. Roger could not hand pick a clearer path to the finals now.

Didn’t catch the Zverev match but saw the score. Another bagel in the fifth set? Yeesh.

And Kyrgios loses to Nishikori in straights. A pitiful showing from the next gen dregs.

Raonic and Federer a round away from a personal round four at Wimbledon.

Rafa looking very strong but an incredibly daunting task ahead, potentially, in Delpo, Novak and Federer. He always plays better deeper in the tournament as the grass wears down but it is hard to get excited about his chances against that kind of gauntlet. It'd be one of the most remarkable wins ever.

His form this season underlines the reality that he was in fact "back" last season on grass but ran into bad luck vs. Muller. Old man Rafa can flatten out the backhand in a way his younger self never could which makes up for at least some of the difficulty with the low bounce and loss of speed.

Raonic and Isner up next round. Talk about some quick points in that match.

Edit: Watch it go 5 sets with the first 4 decided by tie breakers and the last set goes 30-28 Raonic.

Just what Roger needs, some luck with his "brutal" draw in the form of Isner and Raonic wearing each other out.

Officially 0 women seeded in the top 10 left in the draw.

Wow!

KUB, does Isner stand much of a chance vs Raonic?

Have they ever played @ Wimbledon?

I'm not KUB, but I think it is pretty much a tossup. Raonic has a slightly better overall game, but Isner has the more devastating serve (although Raonic isn't far behind). Its really who's playing better on the day.

Raonic is battle tested at Wimbledon and has the more rounded game, I think he takes it although Isner has a puncher's chance. I read that 7 of the 9 sets they've played have gone to a breaker, should be a good one and a good opportunity for the eventual winner to get a long look at a big serve in advance of Federer.

Thanks for the opinion. I'll be pulling for Isner

It's 11-10 Federer....they've stayed on-serve the entire tiebreaker. Past the 4 hour mark now.

Roger blew that game.

Needs a break here now.
