The Real Orlando

Let me tell you, I have lived all over the world, Germany, Italy, NY, West Virginia, Texas, Colorado, Canada, Brazil. The worst place has got to be Orlando, Fl. Orlando, Fl, has got to be the most unfriendly place in the world, the people are just angry, the traffic is terrible, the crime rate is out of control. The most dangerous cities for pedestrians. Housing is ridiculous expensive. Do not move here, as matter of fact stay out of Florida entirely. There is no work, the rip off state of the country. Please this is the truth, I lived there for 5yrs, and I am happy I left. I will never go back, I hope the city burns to the ground. Try the mid-west, like Nebraska, Kansas, Montana, Wyoming, not Florida.

The take from this thread.

A lot of posters use Orlando to bait Arty into discussion.

I've been there a couple times, and my brother lived nearby for a while. Orlando is a dump.
FWIW I haven't lived there for 10+ years.

Realmorlando has a lot of culture actually and had he ever stepped foot inmorlando then he would actually knkw this...
He didnt even go downtown....the entire show was no further than five miles away from disney....
Massive fail
So you told me in another thread that the entire central Florida region is considered Orlando...and now you are saying that Orlando itself is not considered Orlando?

Its the equivilent of filming an entire show in Anaheim and claiming "This is Los Angeles"

Pretty much exactly like that
"Orlando is basically from Sanford to kissimmee, the Sanford downtown historic a river walk area is on the st Johns river...thats considered orlando to anyone who lives here...thats north south..
as for east and west it's basically clermont to ucf area and now far beyond, with the beach about 20 minutes away from there..."

That's pretty much how metropolitan statistical areas are established.

Nope..havent changed it one bit...when a show about orlando food scene is made and they dont go anywhere but basically one street that caters entirely to tourists and not reside ts then the show is totally bogus...he could have actually done a real show about the food scene in orlando and it would rival any other scene in the country...fact is the show was not about the orlando food scene..it was about the host returni g home to his parents house for chinese new year and most of the food shown was what they cooked at home...
It was a terrible represe tation if thats even what the attempt was...the op was vastly reafhing and the title misled you and everyone else in here...sucker

Show was spot on....too generous and kind even....bordering on "fluff piece" designation when stacked against the reality of things...accept it.

You've never lived in a desirable city so you really shouldn't even be contributing to this conversation.
That's one of the worst troll attempts from you.

You've lived in Orlando and communist China lol
I've lived in Charlotte NC, Seoul Korea, Shanghai China, Orlando FL and other smaller locales. Troll attempt 2 is a fail.
