Who would you select over Nash at this point?Macrotus wrote:yeah...but I already seeing people starting to petition for nash...there mindset is being nice get bonus brownie points.Robceltsfan wrote:Macrotus wrote:Wow...nash and cp3 both failed misery with some pretty stacked teams. Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are dumber than that.

serious question? How about the guy with 2 lead dog rings. this is getting pretty ridiculous.Robceltsfan wrote:Who would you select over Nash at this point?Macrotus wrote:yeah...but I already seeing people starting to petition for nash...there mindset is being nice get bonus brownie points.Robceltsfan wrote:

Ewing?
Drexler?
Stockton?
None of them have any lead rings. Most underperformed in the playoffs as well. None have MVPs.
I'm not promoting Nash......simply asking your opinion.

Why is macrotus so upset? I don't think anybody is championing Nash this round. I've only pimped him for #21 (after Stockton goes #20).
I'm pretty certain I can argue pretty convincingly that Nash is right in the next line of candidates, if not at the top.

Stockton....at least he made the Finals and loss to Jordan....Drexler a close second.Robceltsfan wrote:I voted for Zeke....after that bro.Macrotus wrote:serious question? How about the guy with 2 lead dog rings. this is getting pretty ridiculous.Robceltsfan wrote:

Could you convince me the Nash is greater then Paul?AbeVigodaLive wrote:Why is macrotus so upset? I don't think anybody is championing Nash this round. I've only pimped him for #21 (after Stockton goes #20).

I mentioned earlier that every multiple-MVP winner since the merger is already on this list, except for Nash. I think I'm voting for him here. IMO he was a better PG than Isiah. Stockton was great but Malone always ate first in Utah. And Nash was a slightly better shooter than Stockton. Also don't think Isiah deserves in before Stockton does.

I think MVPs are pretty weak of a measuring stick, Derrick Rose should not have the same amount as ShaqHavlicekstealsit wrote:I mentioned earlier that every multiple-MVP winner since the merger is already on this list, except for Nash. I think so. As a huge Nash fan and one not-so-fond of Paul... I'd certainly give it a damn good shot.

Trying to sell Drexler here too. Clyde is one of just three players in league history with 20,000 career points, 6,000 dimes, and 6,000 rebounds (Oscar & Hondo are the other two). Not much personal hardware aside from 10 AS games & a handful of all league teams (one first team) though.
Re: 2015 Anger General Greatest post-merger Players of All Time #19
I really dislike both guys, but have a hard time seeing Nash above Paul. Sure Nash has the two MVPs, but Paul has more first team selections, five defensive team selections to Nash's none, lead the league in steals six times to Nash's none, scored more, and actually dished the ball more. Really the only argument I can see for Nash is longevity and MVPsAbeVigodaLive wrote:wailuaFC wrote:Could you convince me the Nash is greater then Paul?AbeVigodaLive wrote:Why is macrotus so upset? To be fair, Drexler does seem to be overlooked on these types of lists.

What is wrong with you? How could you dislike Nash?

My bias against Nash is 100% as a laker fan, dude killed the lakers when he played against them and as a member of the team, but I also don't like Paul at all so I'm not biased here. It'd be one thing if I was trying to put curry or Durant over Nash, but paul has 10 years worth of really good play already and his accomplishments are every bit as if not more impressive then Nash'sAbeVigodaLive wrote:wailuaFC wrote:I really dislike both guys, but have a hard time seeing Nash above Paul. You seem like you're still bitter about Nash's tenure in LA. Maybe you should sit this one out.

Paul actually has just as impressive of an individual resume, though he doesn't have those MVPsMax. wrote:Aren't we basing this off of resumes?
