That may be true. But modern free agency didn't exist during Russell's career so he never had to worry about losing any of those great, talented teammates to another team. It's just simply how eras differ from each other...For better or worse.

lol @ ranking anyone COMPLETELY reliant upon others to get the ball up court and them the ball in scoring position to be effective offensively as the GOAT "player".....GOAT at their respective position maybe. FAR to deficient in ball handling(one of the most necessary and fundamental parts of the game) along with creating their own shot for consideration.
