How out of touch are you as a dad, that your son had been teaching himself Japanese for 63 days, and you didn't know? That boggles my mind. There is no chance I would not have know within 3 days with any of my children. That is fucked up.
His young kid has unfiltered internet access and a smart phone with no parental monitoring of activity whatsoever. I'm sure he's keeping it Christian!
You’re just jealous that my kid is showing initiative. My kid will be a renaissance man: educated and a beast athletically.
To commit to an exercise plan while logging it and to commit to learning a foreign language at 11 is alpha
What initiative has your kid shown?

Was his birthday 20 minutes ago? Or as a very out of touch parent, you can't remember his age? Is he 10 or is he 11?
I hope he is smarter than you are Attie. You read a lot, think you know a lot, but are dumb as a fucking brick. All that reading and you don't understand a thing you read.

If one of your sons married a Jew would you disown them?
“I have no son”
Parents love their children unconditionally. They are individuals, not just chattel that reflects what you want. I might disagree with positions my children have, but I can remove myself from that. You are just a fucked up dude, top to bottom Attie.

Jesus… everyone really hammered Ati for having a proud dad moment lol
This place can be ruthless. Love you AG!
Imagine they are faulting me for forgetting his birthday. Heck I refer to the kid as the “2nd one”. I remember signing him up for the ymca. Seems like my wife had a family membership which had lapsed. Poor counter girl said sir the birthday of your son is actually August 18th and not the 13th that you told me about.

If I’m being honest… my 9 year old’s birthday is 10/6. I’ve asked her a few times “when’s your birthday again? The 4th?”. I mean I play it off like I’m joking but I was dead serious lol
