Everyone thought Kobe would replace MJ when he was averaging 15 pts, 3 rbs and 3 assists on 43% shooting?

:haha2:

well by the allstar game kobe was averaging 18ppg off the bench ( and around 25 per 36m ) and became the youngest player and starter in allstar game history. that year he dropped like 33 on mj in chicago
Re-invent history much?

Kobe scored more than half of those 33 points in the 4th Quarter (of what was a Bulls blow-out win), while MJ and Scottie were sitting on the bench icing their knees.

and most of the other shots he scored were long threes in which jordan wouldn't have been able to stop anyway
Kobe Bryant 2010 Finals MVP ( 29ppg/8rpg/4apg/2spg ) higher EFG% than Jordan 96 and 98 finals

It’s cause the second 3 peat Bulls were a global phenomenon that historically could only be rivaled by the 60s Beatles in terms of global recognition. Say all you want about “muh competition” blah blah blah, the Bulls were the biggest thing in the world for years. You had people living in mud huts in Congo in the 90s with Bulls posters. No one ever seen anything like that back then.

With that said this documentary is 18-20 years too late. Wtf are they going to show they we already don’t know about.
