I never understood the attraction, unless you’re going for the “young dumb full of fun” (and in that case she has to be an 8-10) type. But she looks dangerous and not to be trusted.

She's dangerous in the micro but not in the macro. It's why the political Right keep her in the spotlight. She's ignorant and says ignorant things, and that allows the Right to vilify her as the latest, greatest threat to the Republic.
Basically, she is the perfect champion to the ignorant Left, and the perfect villain to the ignorant Right. Ignorance cubed.
