Joe Montana in his prime was the greatest QB ever...Tom Brady's success is a direct result of the rules changes...Guys like Welker and Edelman living over the middle could have never happened in Montana's day, and Brady playing into his 40's at this high of a level could have never happened...

Because of the extreme rule differences which allows Brady to play longer, the best way to judge the two is how good they were in their prime...Joe and his 4-0 record Superbowl record is the best ever...

I simply believe that PRIME Montana is better than PRIME Brady...As I said before, Brady certainly has the advantage as far as longevity is concerned, but that is a direct result of the rule changes...
