Hey, invest as much you want emotionally, I just think Madnessss got too much shit for not being devastated by Kobe's death which is more realistic way to react when you don't know the guy personally.

Well said and I bet someday, there will be street name chane in his honor...(LA or somewhere in California or possibly, PA)

Who are you, Cap'n-save-a-hoe? Madness can speak for himself....

There's no requirement to "be devastated" and no one is asking for one.
But how about showing a small amount of social and emotional intelligence and leaving the "grievers" alone to grieve (probably just for the day or maybe a day or two extra for the LA folks)?
Prioritizing the personal benefits of attention-getting and edgelording over that is completely pathetic.

It's a shock Kobe died but investing too much emotionally into a pro athlete and not enough into your own personal relationships is what's wrong with the world today. Kobe wasn't saving lives, he was shooting balls into a hoop, we just need some perspective.
You don't know that. Role models help people in many different ways.
If Kobe is your role model, you're living a deluded life in which case he is likely doing more harm than good to your life. I agree with Barkley, pro athletes for the most part shouldn't be role models.
He was a role model for nearly every kid growing up in the early 2000s and who wanted to one day play in the NBA. He was THE icon you wanted to emulate. One of the hardest working players this game has ever seen and all he cared about was winning.
Bartman last return was to beg for Toothpick to be unbanned and his return today is to edge lord the death of an NBA player, his 13 year old daughter, and up to 7 more people?
You can definitely tell the people who dont have anyone in their lives that love them or that they love when they lash out at people like this.

I'm just pointing out the fact that Madnesss's reaction is perfectly fine. You all can grieve however you want but I only attacked posters for their reactions because they attacked Madness for his reaction. There is no edgelording here, I already said Kobe's passing is sad.

Everyone reacts differently, the truth is none of us know Kobe personally, it really shouldn't affect us that much, it's almost stranger that his death affects us so much.
Great logic. I guess when a mass shooting or plane crash or any other type of tragedy happens you shouldn’t care as long as you don’t know anyone involved.
When people die, others send their condolences whether they know them or not. In this case, it happened to be a legendary player that millions of people loved, and his daughter (plus 7 other people).
It’s also an opportunity for edgy faggots to fish for attention.

You’re insufferable.
Trying to emulate Kobe instead of a doctor, teacher, policeman or fireman is so much better for society....ya ok

Hey, I'm sad for Kobe's death too but there just needs to be a little perspective here.

Stop.
You’re cementing your place here as the board retard. We aren’t children, we’re fully aware that Kobe wasn’t running into burning buildings and pulling out families to safety. But showing some sympathy for about a day or so is perfectly normal for a guy most of us admired and respected as an athlete. You’re not right and everyone else is wrong, you’re just a guy who isn’t “all there”.

Tragedies happen across the world all the time and I guarantee most poeple don't give a fuck 99.999% of the time.
