It's great to know TS% is the now the most important stat in basketball discussions.

I'll need to remember that.

Im sure if you compare to any MJ stretch you would get btfo too. MJ simply wasnt this good at basketball.
You're trolling is atrocious...

Curry is averaging 32/5/6/52% over the last 20 *games*
Jordan averaged 33/7/6/53% over a six (6) year span

:gtfo:
You're an idiot. Currys fg% includes shooting 12 threes game. His ts% is 70%. MJs peaked at a measly 61%. Curry is also playing 6 fewer minutes per game. He's scoring much more per minute and much more per shot.

Consider yourself raped to death.
Oh look... a Kobe Slopper bringing up FG%/TS% after he spent the last 20 years arguing that the stats are completely useless.

Priceless...!!!

And BTW... only a blithering fool would penalize a player (MJ) for taking high-percentage shots.

33/7/6/53% for 6 years is VASTLY SUPERIOR to 32/5/6/52% over 20 "games"

Now go fetch my slippers fool.

TS% ?

Is that the percentage probability that a player will likely sleep with a transvestite?

Same points
Wrong... 33 does not = 32, unless you're an idiot.

How many more shots did he take per game to get that extra point? Let's hear it. This should be good.....
Why are you deflecting?

33 is better than 32

Period.

Jordan: 23.5-FGA / 53%
Curry: 20.2-FGA / 52%

MJ took more shots AND shot at a better overall clip.

Plus TDK has told us Pippen was better than LeBron in his prime. So you had a guy better than LeBron taking the pressure off of Jordan every night. Attracting a lot of the defenders attention were surely focused on someone better than LeBron.

Crazy.

Never said that, fool... I said LeBeta is nothing more than a bigger version of Pippen playing in a weaker era. I said prime Pippen was a better player than Kobe... and he was.

You have no point.

6 years vs. 20 games

The argument is THIS year Curry is better than MJ ever was.
So you're saying Jordan never had a 20 *game* span as good as Curry has had?

Prove it.

Come on now. Be fair. What exactly are you asking for here?
You want him to post every one of Jordan's 1000+ games? 20 game sample sizes at a time?

Madnesss made a claim. It MIGHT not be accurate. But it's up to somebody else to prove him wrong.

If curry doesn't win 6 rings this conversation is pointless. Completely utterly pointless. Different eras different rules different defenses. Jordan was the ultimate scoring warrior who battled hard fouls hand checking ... Etc. from an unbiased standpoint If Curry had to battle hand checking given his size and his game he probably wouldn't have been a relevant player and would have been reduced to Steve Kerr.

However, that doesn't take away from his incredible ability to hit deep shots but let's be honest he can hit half court shots all day and if he doesn't win 6-7 rings then it's all for nothing except the record books.

Lebrun had already put up way better more efficient stats than Jordan and has been to almost as many finals yet once the dust settles he is regarded as a 2 time champion and a perennial failure in 3 finals. IMO he is no longer hyped to be better than Jordan like he once was when everyone was on his nuts after 2 rings. That's only 2 rings. Jordan won "2rings" times 3.

Curry is on a roll but I ain't about to say he's better than Jordan ... He is scoring more efficiently and is a superb shooter because he has exploited the new rule changes better than anyone else but let's keep it real put Curry in the 80/90s and he's only slightly better than his Dad in his day when he played . And that's it.

Great point, actually... and let's not forget Jordan was breaking Finals records for 3-point shooting when that facet of the game was in its infancy. So it stands to reason that if he spent endless hours a day practicing that shot (as do the players of this era) MJ would be shooting 3-pointers at a ridiculous clip.

On the flipside, put Steph in an era where perimeter defenders were allowed to grab, elbow, push and shove their man out of position and there's no way he's putting up the numbers he's putting up today.
