I saw him throw out the first pitch for the Mariners and my buddy helped him build an addition on his deck 2 years ago.

Re: Official bets between users thread.
As I've said from the start, I really have/had no interest in getting involved in any of this avatar stuff (though I think it's fun, and good for the board). What I'd propose:
1) Clevetown submits an alternate avatar to Max that doesn't offend his beliefs. In recent memory, dw was given an alternate, because the initial avatar supplied contained offensive material. Cleve was also given several options recently in this thread:
http://www.angergeneral.com/forum/viewt ... =7&t=34627" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
and was able to decline the first two, because they went against his beliefs (the third one was over the top, and a poor idea to suggest by artman, though I'm happy it was changed).
2) Max has 24 hours to change to the avatar that doesn't conflict with his beliefs, from the end of the game.
Does this seem reasonable to everybody?

I'm not changing it.fpliii wrote:As I've said from the start, I really have/had no interest in getting involved in any of this avatar stuff (though I think it's fun, and good for the board). What I'd propose:

As I posted previously, it's a fair compromise. Clevetown attacked me and never clarified the stipulations.
This is the best he's getting.

I believe I would accept that.

Clevetown just needs to select an avatar that I meets approval. The same thing happened last week with him and the inappropriate avatars artman selected. Artman had to reselect one for Clevetown. Same scenario.

nope. max gets no alternatives. the next time around if he wants to stipulate what the rules are and would hurt his little feelings then OKfpliii wrote:As I've said from the start, I really have/had no interest in getting involved in any of this avatar stuff (though I think it's fun, and good for the board). The Drunkard and I have a bet (seriously).
viewtopic.php?f=2&t=37301&start=25" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I gave him odds and even the injury caveat (starting lineup only). One month avatar bet that the Bulls won't even make the ECF's.
