What happened to Nadal?

Just now seeing that he lost to Wawrinka.

sucks to see him get this far again to get injured in the finals. he'd probably have 3 more grand slams if not for his injuries.

His back was fine in the first set and he was just getting outplayed. Wawrinka was playing extremely well. He hurt his back in the second set and it took a while before pain killers kicked in and he got back to his game. At the end of the day, he just got beat by someone playing better that day.

Very nice. I was really hoping Fed could win this one, but Nadal was too much for him. I'm happy for Wawrinka though, he's a great player, and this will probably be his one and only Major.

His back was flaring up during warmups and you could see it when he blew triple break point in the first set.
