"I'm not sure it's just the NBA," Sarver said, when reached by The Republic via phone, regarding personality clashing and dysfunction within locker rooms. "My whole view of the millennial culture is that they have a tough time dealing with setbacks, and Markieff Morris is the perfect example. He had a setback with his brother in the offseason, and he can't seem to recover from it."
"I'm not sure if it's the technology or the instant gratification of being online," Sarver said. "But the other thing is, I'm not a fan of social media. I tell my kids it's like Fantasyland. The only thing people put online are good things that happen to them, or things they make up. And it creates unrealistic expectations."
Top comment: "Am I mistaken, or did I not read that the Suns ownership promised the Morris brothers before they resigned with the team that they wouldn't be traded (separately or otherwise), then promptly traded one of them. And you want to know why the remaining player has issues with the team? Why didnt' this report address that issue, particularly if it's going to report Sarver 's criticism? That's called journalism 101."
So Sarver promised both the twins that they wouldn't be traded if the resigned then immediately went back on his promise?
Neither should any Suns fan. That guy was the primary reason the Suns didn't make the Finals or win a title. Blame Nash and Dantoni all you want... but it was Sarver and his bottom line that prevented a title.
And yes... by all reports... the Morris boys took less money to stay together in Phoenix. Granted, that was ridiculously naive and myopic thinking... that neither guy would be traded for 4+ years...

Yeah, they like to take advantage of these naive singing-and-dancing ass Negroes. But the ones who try to play hardball end up getting Bill Cosby'd.
