Zimmerman gone, no back-end of the pen (Storen is garbage and they must trade Papelbon who sucks anyway), Gio-Ross-Roark is a garbage 3-4-5, Desmond and Span leaving. The roster sucks but there are few places to even upgrade it, they don't seem inclined to bring in a front end SP, the bullpen crop is weak in this market, they're dumb enough to trust Trea at SS.
Their window has closed and they never even reached the NLCS lol

As far as Washington goes, I agree that their window is closed. They played their cards wrong. That 1-2 punch of Straus and Max is top 5 in the majors but that's really all that they have Other than Harper.
