This year is a wash anyway? Who gives a fuck how Kobe plays this year? Lol, the haters I guess is the answer. They been waiting 20 years for this. Too bad for them they'll be drowning in their own tears this time next year.

Lol. No. They'll have another top 3 draft pick and unlimited $$$ to spend. You and your childish friends will be eating your words soon.

I really believe this. The 5 or so more wins they may have gotten/get without Kobe's cancerous chucking wouldn't be worth the fewer ping pong balls.
Only people that have no clue about basketball and the Lakers current situation would disagree.
The only problem with that is even with the worst record in the league (which philly has locked up) there is only a 64% chance of staying in the top 3, and if we fall out of the top 3 philly gets our pick. Wouldn't it be awful to waste a year where we could have been playing and running actual offensive and defensive sets while Russell and Randle shine just to give philly two top 4 picks?

Re-read the thread's title - "Real Talk". You're not giving us real talk in this post. But at least you're admitting to being a hater, sort of, so you did have a tiny smidgen of real in there.

When the bulls were getting blown out by the hornets they decided to play Portis in the final 9 minutes of the game and gave them 10 points.

Probably the most overrated player in the history of the game.

When are you gonna take the hint, that nobody cares about your opinions and thoughts?

Haha. If the faker organization would have listened to me 5 years when I said cut KoMe after 2010 they would be easy contenders for the title now and not the laughing stock of the league. This is what happens when people don't listen :stephena:

I bet Portis gained a lot more then say nazr would have. Last game we closed out with huertas, mwp, and bass with Russell, clarkson, Randle, nance, and brown wasting away on our bench.

Byron Scott was a bad head coach before being hired.

"But what about his tenure with the nets?"

Sure with mvp level Jason Kidd, who absolutely hated Scott and has proved to be a better head coach then Scott, the nets did well but it sure as hell wasn't because of Scott.

Which brings up a point, why the fuck is he taking a 3 while being double teamed with 12 on the shot clock?

Won't play him in blowouts, won't play him in close games..when exactly does he get to "earn it", Byron? He was Chris Paul's rookie coach - guess who was in those 4th quarters & averaged 36 minutes a night, the most on the team?

He is completely out of touch. That is what is wrong with him. Somehow the thought of "Oh, this is a perfect time to get my young guys (Not just Russell, but Randle, Clarkson, and Nance) some valuable experience. Instead he throws out a lineup of guys who won't be in the NBA in 2 years.

Kobe was allowed to shoot unconsciously when he had great teammates to the point where he alienated his teammates especially Shaq.

But my boy Melo was called out many times even though he didn't have a credible 2nd option until AI then Billups came who he happened to play well with.

I think that Kobe in his effort to be "like Mike" went against the flow of the team many times. Also with the talent around him though, he knew that he had to win 'ships to even be considered near MJ.

Kobe was really good and it's painful to see him go thru this. This is on him. He should be teaching how to win instead of trying to go for personal gains, whatever that maybe.

Now after major injuries the last couple of years and his athleticism waning, he should be more of a coach on the floor and make way for the younger players.

Yea I feel for guys like Melo and Iverson in this regard. KoMe should have been lumped in with both of these guys not ranked higher. KoMe was basically AI or Melo except with GOAT coaching and GOAT supporting help. And he should have been drafted to a lousy east team anyways but instead whined so he could go to an already established Lakers team.

In fact, KoMe should be blasted for ONLY having 5 championships. In his 20 years in the league he only had a horrible team around him maybe 5 of those year?? He should have won more rings than Russell when you factor he 95 percent of his career he had HOF BIGS and great supporting help.

Why does this guy only have 5 championships when probably 90 percent of his career he had great coaching and some of the best supporting help you can give a player?? :stephen a:

Shit.. Shaq, Gasol, Odom, Bynum, Dwight, Nash, Artest etc.. and only 5 rings?? :noidea: :noidea:

Why? Because he's proven many times that he is the Biggest Chucker in NBA History.

Simple as that.
