What Western Conference playoff matchup would be most entertaining for you?

Clippers Spurs would be fun to see two different kinds of teams go at it, but the Spurs would outsmart them. GS and Clippers or Clippers/OKC would be more fun though

All of them SHOULD be pretty entertaining, right? There really isn't a dominant team. And no super crappy one either. It's all about matchups and injuries.

That being said, I think Portland and Phoenix (if they make it) are the easiest outs.

Golden St. vs the Clippers. There is some bad blood already between these teams. It would be the high flying versus the great shooting. You would get all aspects of the offensive game in the series. I think it would boil down to 7 with at least 5-6 technicals handed out during the series.

BYU-USF semis in the WCC - If the Cougs win do you think they have a shot at Zaga (if they win their semi)? And if BYU doesn't get the auto bid, are they worthy of an at-large?

Abe is right. You really can't go wrong in the Western Conference this year. I can't wait for the playoffs.

With that being said, I would love to see a Houston Golden State series. It looks like that might happen. Both teams are very entertaining to watch and on paper it looks like both teams actually match-up very well with each other.

Don't look now but the Grizz have dug their way out of that hole they dug for themselves when Gasol was out and have caught the Suns who have a ton of road games left. Hope springs eternal!!!

I'd think Golden State would make it on the high entertainment side for a lot of people. Part of it is how they play... Steph Curry is really fun to watch. And also because there's still so much uncertainty with them.

Just how good are they? I think there's some of this with Houston and even the Clippers. We know they're good. But are they NBA Finals and a legit threat to Miami good?

In my humble opinion, they need to make it to the championship game to have a chance at the tournament. If they play like they did on Saturday, they will struggle with the Zags. Although I did like the hustle and the effort, you can't go 0-15 or whatever it was from 3 and beat a good team. Collinsworth needs to play with the same urgency and toughness that he did against Loyola. He is the key to beating the Zags.

Assuming the Jazz float around the 5 spot come draft night, what player(s) do you want for the Jazz?

Also, Golden St.'s fans make the games really fun to watch. Some of the best in the NBA and the playoff games their have a completely different kind of energy.

The Grizzlies have snuck up on almost everybody. (I was laughed down by Wolves fans when I mentioned this would happen two months ago.)

But don't they still have the same problems when the playoffs hit? Are Mike Miller and Courtney Lee really enough to spread the floor and be legitimate threats during playoff basketball?

Golden State with their assortment of shooters and underrated defense can beat anybody in a 7 game series. The issue is trying to do that 4 times.

Perfect match is Parker but there is no way he falls that far in the draft. I'd be interested in Exum as well. The Jazz need a wingman that can hit a 3 and create off the dribble. I'd be fine with anyone that could fill that void.

Please avoid Randle. I see bust all over that guy.

Agreed. There are a lot of unknowns in the West and we don't really know which teams can take it to the next level. I think this year might be the start for one of these teams to make a statement. Who, out of the West, do you think would have the best chance against the Heat?

The Grizzlies will have to beat teams the same way the Bulls will. With tough nose defense that makes every basket well earned. They aren't going to outscore you but they will beat you down.

I don't know why, but I have a feeling those fucks in Ames are going to the Final Four.
