I remember watching NBA Inside Stuff back in the day with a feature on KG when he was in Minnesota, and they showed a plane landing in a goddamn blizzard like it was nothing. My favorite thing with winter flying is when they have to "de-ice" the planes and most non-northeners get uncomfortable.

I remember watching NBA Inside Stuff back in the day with a feature on KG when he was in Minnesota, and they showed a plane landing in a goddamn blizzard like it was nothing.

I was afraid for my life last february when i was taking a plane from Denver to Orlando and they had to delay the flight to de-ice the wings and it was in the middle of a snow storm....i ate an entire bag of gummy edible weed while wee waited..next thing i knew i was landing in sunny beautiful orlando..high as fuck

Anchorage actually has a heated runway. Still a little unnerving when they Deice the plane. Once taking off from Fairbanks they de-iced 3 times, it kept freezing over. -46. Yuck.
