My Grilled Cheese

Post by CleveTown™ »

Is it weird that I like to nuke my one piece of bread (never use two pieces) with cheddar cheese in the microwave for about 2 minutes so that it is hard and dried out before eating? I think the flavor is much more enhanced. You get the oils that comes out of the cheese and onto the bread so it isn't entirely dry and adds a great taste. Anyway, is this strange to you? Try it sometime, you may like it.

Hell no. Grill that bitch for real. And add bacon.

Yeah I thought it might be weird, but we all have at least one strange eating habit, right?
I accidentally overheated my grilled cheese once and liked it and stumbled onto a great food invention.

It does sound weird but i understand why you do that. Poor people have to get creative with their meals since they don't have the luxury to be able to eat real food.

grilling is good....but what you need to do for the exact same taste as the ones in your elementary school (I know because when I taught for a year i asked them how they made them) is to get a bowl and melt some salted butter in the microwave.

Take it out and throw in a piece of bread and coat it like you would french toast in egg. Put it on a baking sheet. put the cheese on. Do the same with another piece of bread, put it on top and bake it in the oven or even better in the little range ovens. It smells, tastes, and looks EXACTLY like the GOAT grilled cheese--school grilled cheese.

Its hard and crunchy on the outside crust but the inside is surprisingly pleasant and quite chewable.

You just admitted your main meal consists of microwaved cheese on one piece of bread. You frequent public bathrooms because you most likely do not have running water.

You can admit what we already know. We still care for you.

Come to think of it, I always use one piece of the bread. This is how I make a PB&J (then fold it like a taco):

No, and as I pointed out earlier, the dip, then bake in the oven is the superior method. Dont knock it till you try it
