Lebron Would Be the Best TE in The NFL

Post by CleveTown™ »

I truly think if he played in the NFL he would be the best tight end in the league, the dude could leap up and catch any ball over any cornerback and he has great hands. I would love to see him make the transition. Theres no flopoing in football, not sure about his durability with those LB monsters on defense though.

LOL. In case you forgot, football is a contact sport. Imagine what Lebron would do if he actually got hit.

I don't know why you're laughing this is a serious thought I'm having. He should move to the NFL and show the world his true talents

LOL the moment a guy like Richard Sherman starts barking into his ear, LeBron will start crying to the refs for a flag.

No. If anything he'd be a WR.

He's too lean to be a TE.

He would just have to hit another roid cycle or 2.

Sure he has the talent but he got upset when Kirk Hinrich wrapped his arms around him.

Yeah a guy with zero organized football training since high school over a decade ago is gonna come right in and dominate the NFL.

I'd agree, but history doesn't really support your argument.

He'd have to toughen up awfully quick. He's not used to taking hits (remember how he dropped like he'd been shot by a sniper when Chandler bumped him?) A couple really good pops from LBs or even Safeties would probably have him sprinting back to the Association.

Have there been NFL players that skipped football for over a decade and didn't even play college ball? I'm thinking of Antonio Gates, who didn't play college football, but he also didn't take 10 years off playing the game like LeBron has, as he started playing the next year or two after he left college.

That would be a hell of a down grade for LeBron. TE is arguably the least valuable position on the field (not including gunner, jammer, long snapper, holder and upback)

I disagree strongly. TE is a crucial position for the offense, often serving as the bailout for the QB. Has to be able to run routes like a WR and block like an OT. It's a very valuable position.

It would be fun watching Lebron get blasted going across the middle though.

I think he could be good. I don't really see what the big deal is. I bet he could play next season and be productive if he really trained for it. All he really has to do is run that crossing route and block.

you strongly disagreed but didn't say what they were more valuable then. I left out FB... but after that its TE.

You're not allowed to talk about football anymore.
