That's not a prediction of the Dodgers flopping at the finish line but this is the best baseball roster ever assembled.

The scary part is they haven’t even started to cook. A couple nail biters, a couple rough starts from Roki, usual mashers like Shohei, Muncy, Smith aren’t seeing the ball well yet.
But when you’re this stacked, does it even matter?

Re: The Dodgers are on the level with the 73-win Warriors and 18-0 Patriots
The Dodgers move like a memory of October—sharp, familiar, eternal. Mookie’s bat sings in silence before the roar, a lone arc in the night carving out destiny. Freeman’s swing hums like a cello, Will Smith frames time behind the plate, and Teoscar Hernández thunders through the order like a storm breaking open. Each game feels less like sport, more like ritual—an unfolding prophecy in blue and gold. Five wins deep, and already they play as if fate is just catching up.
This team wasn’t built—it was composed, like a sonnet etched in decades of ambition. Stars didn’t just sign; they were summoned, drawn to the glow of legacy and the gravity of greatness. Mookie, a spark stolen from Boston’s flame; Freeman, a steady drumbeat from Atlanta’s heart. Teoscar arrived like thunder answering a call, while young voices rose from within, shaped by the echoes of Koufax and Kershaw. The Dodgers didn’t just assemble a roster—they conjured a force, stitched from myth and money, patience and fire.

Shohei isn't pitching yet either. They have shattered the conventional wisdom, yes in baseball it is possible to be THAT stacked and to buy titles. I would be disappointed if they don't win at least 110 this season.

Re: The Dodgers are on the level with the 73-win Warriors and 18-0 Patriots
How can the 73-win Warriors and the 18-1 Patriots be the "best" rosters ever assembled (in the NBA/NFL respectively) when both teams "failed" to win a title?
"Failed" does not = "best" under any circumstances, sorry. Please edit the title of this thread to read "96 Bulls and 72 Dolphins" instead.
Thanks in advance.

Well at least you admit you were in retard mode when you wrote the title... now all you have to do is edit it with the correct teams (96 Bulls and 72 Dolphins) and your thread will make much more sense.kobeunderbite wrote: ↑Sun Mar 30, 2025 10:49 amRetard mode post no trollthedangerouskitchen wrote: ↑Sun Mar 30, 2025 10:41 am How can the 73-win Warriors and the 18-1 Patriots be the "best" rosters ever assembled (in the NBA/NFL respectively) when both teams "failed" to win a title?

While they didn't achieve the same regular season success the warriors the following season and the the eagles fhis season fit the mold of what you are saying the dodgers are this season. Talent wise i dont think the 73 win Warriors were close to the 1st year durant warriors. And the same with the Patriots although that situation is closer to the eagles.
Re: The Dodgers are on the level with the 73-win Warriors and 18-0 Patriots
It will be a great regular season no doubt, but it only matters if they win 11 more in October. They won 111 games or so in 2022 then went down in the 5 game trap series to the Padres.kobeunderbite wrote: ↑Sun Mar 30, 2025 10:31 amlettherebehouse wrote: ↑Sun Mar 30, 2025 10:09 am The scary part is they haven’t even started to cook.
