How many times have you rewatched a tv show start to finish?
Currently on my fourth viewing of the Sopranos, which isn’t that bad I guess considering it finished in 2007.

I've watched the Sopranos 3 times. A fourth time is due.
The Wire twice. I actually just finished my second watch a few months ago.
When Game of Thrones was good from seasons 1-4 I would rewatch the previous seasons in anticipation for the new season. That changed after season 5. Doesn't count towards your question though.

I still haven’t watched the Wire but I always hear how great it is.. really need to cross that off my list. I’ve rewatched the Simpson and Married With Children so many times, but never from start to finish, just a few episodes here and there.PhutureDynasty wrote: ↑Thu Mar 06, 2025 2:14 pm I've watched the Sopranos 3 times. The Wire is great. I think you could argue it's a greater show than The Sopranos but I enjoy The Sopranos more.LNS wrote: ↑Thu Mar 06, 2025 2:18 pmI still haven’t watched the Wire but I always hear how great it is.. really need to cross that off my list. HBO in the late 1990s through mid 2000s was an absolute masterclass of television.

I’ve only watched ‘24’ all the way through twice. I can’t see myself doing it again for any other show. Maybe House of Cards I could do again, but there’s too many new shows to go through to recycle old ones.

Re: How many times have you rewatched a tv show start to finish?
i’ve been meaning to get back into better call saul. i remember i stopped watching it after season 2 or 3 and then forgot about it. lately ive been watching clips or yt shorts of scenes from seasons i missed and its got me itching to get back into it.

Re: How many times have you rewatched a tv show start to finish?
Never. I’ve tried with some shows and the first season usually hits hard the second time around but once I’m getting into that second season I’m like meh I’d rather find something new.
Haven’t tried it with much. Breaking bad, Dexter, and house of cards have been my only attempts.

I’ve never seen 24.. I actually had a brief moment with Kiefer Sutherland many years ago funny enough. When I worked in Hollywood we’d always get lots of celebs that’d come in for post production stuff. Anyway.. he was on the lot that day and I was coming back from lunch, and I guess I was taking too long turning into a parking lot nearby and this car behind me started blasting his horn, and then he aggressively swerved around me, and as he rolled up I shouted “fuck you, little faggot!” and then immediately thought “oh shit that was Kiefer Sutherland”lettherebehouse wrote: ↑Thu Mar 06, 2025 2:31 pm I’ve only watched ‘24’ all the way through twice. I don't remember exactly. I've seen every episode from the Simpsons seasons 2-8ish at least a few times each. Seen all of Spartacus 3x, all of House 2x (many episodes more). Seen all of Spider-Man and X-Men TAS (the original run) a couple of times. Then maybe Hercules and Xena.

Everything I’ve heard about the guy is he’s a douchebag off camera. He’s like 5’6 so i’m sure you could’ve just stepped on him then kept it pushin.LNS wrote: ↑Thu Mar 06, 2025 2:49 pmI’ve never seen 24.. 24’s rewatch was kinda meh but I stuck with it cause my wife had never seen it plus the nostalgia. Early 2000s production so didn’t age well. But god damn Kim Bauer was so hot. They filmed some of season 1 in your old neck of the woods, some of it may look familiar.

Yeah 24 went so hard when it first aired but I can't imagine re-watching today. But the hype anticipating new episodes when the prior one ended on a cliffhanger was so legit. Oddly House MD which was the same era on Fox has aged like a fine wine.

Straight through, S1E1 through finale....twice is the most.
But I was a huge Star Trek: TNG fan as a kid. I can guarantee I've seen every episode 5 or 6 times, minimum.....simply via random reruns.

As an old fart that loved the Star Trek original series. Out of just being bored I binge watched all of every episode of all Star Trek shows at least twice.Robceltsfan wrote: ↑Thu Mar 06, 2025 3:38 pm Straight through, S1E1 through finale....twice is the most.

Re: How many times have you rewatched a tv show start to finish?
Once covid hit and I got to work from home a couple years I was able to catch up on a lot of shows I never watched....I'd just binge watch while working.
Breaking Bad 3 times
Better Caul Saul 2 times
Sopranos 2 times (watched Sopranos weekly when it first came out)
GOT 2 times
After finally watching Breaking Bad and loving it, I watched The Wire and I'd give it a 6 out of 10. Maybe I need to watch it again, but it didn't do anything for me. Maybe because I was watching it in 2021, but the show even felt a bit dated to me.

I don't mean to be a faggot but I don't really count it if you're doing other stuff while watching and not paying attention a lot of the time. If that counts I need to adjust my numbers because I can't tell you how many times I've just had The Office or something running in the background
Re: How many times have you rewatched a tv show start to finish?
I dont think I ever have from start to finish done a rewatch. I have rewatched some earlier seasons of Narcos and Ozark prior to final season.
Re: How many times have you rewatched a tv show start to finish?
I tried to rewatch the Wire and only got to late season two, i might try with BB.
Sopranos second season was so bad I would never rewatch it.
