These are my rolling 2 week stats, I'm over 1 million impressions in the last 4 weeks and I haven't been able to go very hard at all because of the holidays

Ok update time. I removed my followers but they are up like 50% in this time, although I'm still under 1000 total.



I still have about a week to reach a clean three month period of posting. So I'll definitely clear 6 million impressions in the first three months that I actually started posting (reminder that 5 million is the bar for monetization, with 500+ verified followers which I think I can get to in less than a year).

Everything I said earlier still applies although they changed the system with communities so that everything you post in a community has to appear on your timeline and to all of your followers. Not really a problem in a vacuum, although one issue I have is that my varied interests and topics for posting can turn off followers and potential followers and lead to fragmented follower engagement. So for example if I post about baseball, none of the people who follow me for politics or pop culture posts are going to give a shit and some might even unfollow me for seeing it. If I was a 100% dedicated baseball or NBA account it would be much easier to maintain a high engagement rate among my followers which I think is important for the algorithm. However I'm not going to let that stop me from posting about whatever I want.

One scenario that is a cheat code is that when any news breaks in any area, let's take the NBA for example, you're going to have a 10-20 minute period in which every high volume account posts about it. If you reply to every single one with a unique comment or media, there's a really high chance relatively speaking that at least one of them will hit.

Something else that's more clear to me than ever is that it really doesn't matter how funny your post is, it's all up to the algorithm. I've seen the lamest shit get millions of impressions for no apparent reason with under 1k likes while my fire comment or meme about a similar topic with 1k likes/10k impressions die out. I don't get it and I don't think I ever will, just have to keep posting. Curious to see what my stats will look like after a year.
