Depends on the rules... if it's 90's rules the Dream Team wins by 30. If it's today's rules the Dream Team wins by 10.

The Dream Team would lose in a straight across game to the Thunder or Celtics, let alone a modern Dream Team

Edit: I really considered changing my position on this, but just couldn't pull the trigger. Sorry.

The 1992 Dream Team shot 40 percent from the international line, against players like Mubay [Click-Click Noise] from Angola, and Boris Yelsov (smoking a ciggie on the bench) from Estonia and shit.

The 2025 Cavs are shooting 39.3 percent from the NBA line against the best era of basketball ever.

People don't remember, but the Dream Team was actually losing to Croatia after what would normally be the first quarter.

They actually lost to college kids previously.

Not good.

The Dream Team was a dream team for its time. Unfortunately for those suffering from Glory Days Syndrome, this isn't the 90s. The inability to hit the 3 (relatively speaking), generally weaker ballhandlers and fewer guys who can penetrate and dish or finish means they get mollywhopped. It is what it is.

Dream Team lost to a College team because they clearly and obviously took the game lightly, evidenced by the fact that they faced that same team shortly thereafter and beat them by 50+ points.

Also... funny how today's Modern Era fans (who suffer from MJ Derangement Syndrome) think there's something "special" about today's players chucking 40% of their shots from 3-point range and MISSING 65% of the time... like that's supposed to take today's team to victory against the Dream Team?? You mean Jordan, Pippen, Stockton, Drexler, Dream, Robinson, etc couldn't guard the perimeter?

 c'mon... you Modern Era fanboys try waaaaay too hard sometimes. Keep your MJDS in check will ya. Dream Team 92 would embarrass today's team.

92 in a close one, tougher than the players are today mentally by far anyway and could handle some physicality. Jordan and company would score at will

aside from curry reggie miller and ray allen were better shooters than anyone in todays game and that doesn’t include sharps like richmond and rice.
