This is where I'm skeptical.

Would a person with Hitler Derangement Syndrome vote for a Hitler/Gandhi ticket?

I don't think Carson will do this, even on a marginal level, because the Trump effect is too strong (in both good and bad).

But I guess that's an open question on the margins, like you said at the end. Maybe I'm too cynical on race/women issues when it comes to voting, after a generation of watching women be retarded and non-Whites crushingly vote against Republicans.

I will say if it doesn't happen in *this* election, it ain't ever happening. You'd be hard-pressed to find a situation more ripe for crossing-over than this one (shitty old White President, gangsta opponent, tangible evidence of how each person impacted their personal lives, alpha energy vs. dementia energy, etc...).

I think everyone recognizes that 94-97 percent of the country has their minds made up about Trump and it's the remaining 3-6 percent who are possibly swayable, and I do believe that picking a Carson who can balance Trump's alpha god emperor intimidation factor, while also being black, might help sway some votes among people who for the most part are so disgusted by Biden that they are open-minded about giving Trump another term as the alternative. And again, I have a very hard time imagining someone who is on the fence about Trump being won over by a smooth-talking Indian guy fellating Trump on stage in a MAGA hat. But admittedly no choice will make a very meaningful difference, and removing 'winning' from the equation, Trump needs to be surrounded by proven loyalists and not the snake type characters who made up his first term cabinet members.

I like to imagine he will be launched far over the Mexican border from some sort of industrial grade cannon.

I was thinking it would be JD Vance, but I haven't thought about it much.

I wonder about Carson's ability to energize and move people. I think he's a much greater man than he would be a politician.

In any event, after Trump wins, Artman will be deported, and rightfully so, and that's the most important thing.
Prepare for deportation Artman.

Vance has to completely wash off his initial anti-Trump stink, but either way...you are getting deported.

It's about shoring up the ticket so Trump can get elected, and then deport Artman, not the VP doing anything himself.

IMO, Trump simply needs to keep the ball in play, minus a complete collapse. This was Trump slapping a hanging slider up the middle for a frozen rope single game-winning hit, instead of trying to jack one into the stands.

   at the thought of that happening... but unfortunately there isn't a cannon made today that's wide enough for fatso to fit inside.
