When I was in college and working/scraping by, Jimmy Johns was always my big splurge meal.
I think it caused me to fall more in love with it than it probably deserved (everything is delicious when you are hungry).
Now that I'm an adult with money, more experience, etc...I tend to not think of either JJ or JM as options.
I will still endorse Potbellies though, unless they have fallen off. They were my thing in DC (at work) and Minnesota (store one mile from home). They had a certain artistry and beauty to it that JJ and JM really don't.

I don’t think I’ve had Jimmy John’s. But if any Subway hater want the smoke while propping up Jimmy J’s or some shit, they’ll be in my scope.
As long as they don’t leave a shit ton of cornmeal on their breads, they’re already better than Jersey Mike.
Dude, you need to relax. How much money did you lose on the Dodgers today?

I find Subway absolute trash, and JJ and JM not a whole lot better.
Togos used to be way better, but has fallen off a bit.
Board & Brew sammies are pretty good.

Say what you will about Jersey Mikes… but they always stack the meats high.
Port of subs tho is by far the worst in the game. Their bread weird af and they literally give you one thin strip of meat. I ordered this turkey roast beef and cheese from the spot they had here in the airport and it set me back $15 and sum change and this is without chips or a drink
