Jordan definitely did not have "lackluster" help. That's nonsense. Relative to era (90s), his teams were absolutely stacked. That obviously wasn't the case in the 80s.

Bulls and Blazers trade draft picks. Bulls also draft a Horace Grant. The Bulls now develop the younger players. Win Championships. But this team is stacked. Its not like todays free agency. But I do see a point._Vcsgrizzfan_ wrote: ↑Tue Jun 18, 2024 12:33 pm Jordan definitely did not have "lackluster" help. That's nonsense. Relative to era (90s), his teams were absolutely stacked. Bulls sign damaged good in Ron Harper. No longer the offensive player but still great in the defensive end.
Bulls trade for Dennis Rodman for one 30 pack of Natty light and a bottle of no salt mater juice.
This is like going to a yard sale finding a pair of Bose 601's for ten bucks.
This team could have also fallen apart. PJ was the glue.

Imagine how badly Jordan would have been skullfucked by the Curry-Durant Warriors and imagine how brutally LeBron would have tormented teams like the Sonics and Jazz. It's a joke.

All that is true. But so is my point. Relative to era, they were stacked. Obviously Pippen and MJ speak for themselves. But Grant and Rodman were top tier PFs who suited the Bulls to an absolute "T". They had quality PGs who could defend and if pressed, had shown an ability to score. It just didn't make sense for them to take a bunch of shots with the Bulls. The "relative" weakness was at C, but even there, they could defend which is what was required. Great specialists like Kerr and six man Kukoc. Almost all teams from that era had relative glaring weaknesses. The Bulls did not.Da Stars. wrote: ↑Tue Jun 18, 2024 1:08 pmBulls and Blazers trade draft picks. Bulls also draft a Horace Grant. The second 3peat was stacked the first was just good fortune of player development. Ron Haper the greatest free agency signing by the Bulls._Vcsgrizzfan_ wrote: ↑Tue Jun 18, 2024 2:52 pmAll that is true. But so is my point. Relative to era, they were stacked.
