I haven't been watching the NBA for the past 5 years. This year I decided to watch again once the playoffs started. I've seen pretty much every playoff game this season. Tatum underwhelms the absolute fuck out of me. Even the games when he puts up 30+ I don't walk away saying he had a really good game. I can't put my finger on it...maybe it's his shooting percentage in the playoffs? He's leading his team in everything, but somehow it doesn't feel like it.

I think Tatum is a current NBA great and that’s easy to see. He makes tough shots and he has an all around game. Is he a superstar ? Probably not… is he more substance than flash? Definitely he’s not gonna dazzle you but he gets 30 ppg effortlessly and is a cornerstone to Boston success the last few years. He’s strong and steady … now I’ll agree with some he’s not a glamour player nor is he in the echelon of kobe Jordan or Lebron by comparison but there’s nothing wrong with having a reliable horse in your stable like him.
