My understanding is that consequences that result from actions that can be reasonably expected at a basketball game are not able to be sued over (like being hurt by a player jumping for a loose ball), but everything else is actionable (theoretically).

That could definitely be wrong and clumsily stated (not a lawyer), but it seems likely fastballing a basketball into someone's dome is outside the boundary.

The other bad thing is that he didn't even hit the guy the first time, and he was only like ten feet away. He should get a few extra games just for that.
