So I took down an 85oz sirloin steak in plantersville, tx

Post by Alex_Murphy »

Literally in the middle of nowhere but an hour north of Houston

It was a challenge 75 minutes to take it down …

Needless to say it was a lot of fucking steak. Could you take down a 85oz steak in an hour? Comment below.

Easy

Now if there was some mashed taters or something to go with it than probably not.

85 ounces is a little over 5 pounds. That doesn't look remotely close to that amount.

I'm pretty certain I could do that steak, but there is no chance I could do a legitimate 85 ounces.

No, but when I was driving up to the place, I kept getting a vibe that I could get chopped up into little pieces and burried out in the middle of nowhere and nobody would ever find out

I looked up the joint, and the 85 ounce challenge is real, and they make you eat other food (salad, potato, cornbread, like Hawks said).

There's no way on God's green earth I'd get through that much steak AND potato/cornbread lol

Arty, why is the top sirloin portion of the porterhouse steak, the most tender?
