In both the NBA and NHL will a number 8 seed knock of a 1 seed?

It is way more common in hockey. There is more randomness, usually associated with a goalie being hot or cold that can swing a series in a hurry in hockey. The Bruins last year are a good example. It is pretty rare in hoops. Something bizarre, like Baron Davis shooting like Steph Curry when the Warriors beat the Mavs way back in 2007 I believe has to happen and even then, it often isn't enough.

The thought of the Stars playing the Knights scares me to death. Otter has not been great this year, but getting better.
