If Pippen and Rodman were so great, why did the Trailblazers and Spurs trade them for 4 boxes of rocks. 30 pack of Natty light. 64 ounce bottle of unsalted tomato juice, and an empty saltshaker?

Because at that stage of their careers, they were only worth 4 boxes of rocks. 30 pack of Natty light. 64 ounce bottle of unsalted tomato juice, and an empty saltshaker

So they were nothing until joining Jordan. So, who made who? Right.

There more holes in this dude's nonsense than swiss cheese... not even worthy of a retort, actually.

Rodman was traded entirely because he was seen as a hugely disruptive force and clashed with a much younger Pop.

You could easily make the argument D-Rob and the Spurs had their best pre-Duncan season when Rodman was on board across only a two year span...I don't think that's entirely coincidental. They had a 13 game bump from 1993 to 1995 in regular season wins as well.

He wasn't the player in Chicago he was at his peak in Detroit, but he was still an excellent role player and critical piece.

So tell me Bush, how does Rodman go from a major disruptive force with the Spurs to superstar with the Bulls?

I wouldn't quite call him a superstar. Just an excellent "piece" to a team, but in a role player role.

But to answer your question, better coaching (for him) by a coach who had a much better understanding of his psychology. A superstar he respected much more than David Robinson (who Rodman absolutely eviscerated as a weak leader and soft/coward persona in his books), and a team that was simply better, which allowed much more of a buffer for when anything went off-track.

Just basic person-environment fit issues. If you split his career into four basic chunks (Daly+Bad Boys, Post-Bad Boys Detroit, Spurs, and Bulls), you see him ping-ponging between good and bad fit with respect to the guys coaching him and superstars leading the team (and management to some extent like towards the end in Detroit and Pop in San Antonio, etc...)

So Jordan needed Pippen and a defensive minded PF to win

And LeFaggot needed at least 2 hall of famers to win and isn’t even the greatest winner of his own era.

All this leads to the fact the current players who grew up watching LeFaggot and has only seen grainy YouTube videos of Jordan still overwhelming naming JorGOAT as the GOAT.

Like Shaq said, no one fears or respects LeFaggot.

Once again, JorGOAT wins, much to the dismay of a bunch of 5’7 white finance guys on this board

lol :trumphuh:
