Magic gonna wreck their group up
So turmesdays and tmfridays are tournament games. 2 hom 2 away
Best 4 advance and wildcards all for a meaningless trophy
Pretty simple

Rofl, "you lose, and you're out." Out of what? The DNP-rest from teams stars for this is gonna be amazing.

Who was asking for this? And there's no actual reward for winning this thing. It does nothing for the playoffs. It's just regular season games that count towards a random tournament no one is going to care about. Those tickets for the banner raising will be a scalpers dream....2024 NBA in season Tournament Champions. I feel like the NBA just jumped the shark.

Re: NBA explains the in-season tournament format
they're doing it to remedy the teams sitting their stars and resting them/coasting through the regular season. to make the reg. season more fun and engaging they came up with this plan.
nothing would make me lol more than to see teams totally disregard it and sit their players and ignore it altogether.

This reeks of desperation from a league that has gone down the toilet since going 'woke'... I hope they fail miserably UNTIL LeWoke and Commie Silver are gone.

The NBA's 2022 revenue was equal to 2014 and 2015 COMBINED. They've doubled their yearly revenue in 7 years. It's the third largest sports league in the world, and will likely overtake MLB in the next few years.thedangerouskitchen wrote: ↑Mon Jul 10, 2023 9:49 am This reeks of desperation from a league that has gone down the toilet since going 'woke'... Pretty sure the NBA is as sound and popular as it's ever been.
Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are dumber than that.

Only because they're tapping into China money, not because it's more popular than ever in America. It's nowhere near as popular as it used to be in America.

Re: NBA explains the in-season tournament format
Still clinging to “muh China”. The NBA is destroying attendance records while the MLB can barely give away opening night tickets. I’m sure you’ll fall back on the MLB selling more tickets with double the games and 3 times bigger stadiums.kobeunderbite wrote: ↑Mon Jul 10, 2023 10:07 amRobceltsfan wrote: ↑Mon Jul 10, 2023 10:06 amThe NBA's 2022 revenue was equal to 2014 and 2015 COMBINED.
