Most Improved Player?
Haven't really thought this one though, but I was in Phoenix for a bit and saw Dragic play live on Saturady night (admittedly against a shitty Bobcats team), but he was by far the best player on the floor for both teams. He has to be in the voting.

Davis or dragic

For me it's Davis or Stephenson.

Stephenson is a great choice. He really has stepped it up this year. I have a bit of a problem with Davis, not because he hasn't stepped it up, which he obviously has, but because he was meant to be this good and was drafted as such.PhutureDynasty wrote:For me it's Davis or Stephenson.

all good choices
a few analysts actually named Griffin and if you check his numbers, it's not that hard to believe (even though he was very good before this season)

Personally, I don't think natural development should play a factor in the voting.fpliii wrote:Reggie Jackson, Dragic, or Stephenson IMO.
My issue with Davis is, as grizzfan said, that it's natural development. Same with PG last year.
When it says most improved player, I thought it simply meant improvement from the player's stats they had from the previous season (or their entire career) to the current season (as long as the player didn't have a big injury the season before). A player's natural progression shouldn't be a deterrent from saying that person was the most improved from his last season. Obviously, to each his own but Davis should be considered for the award in my eyes.

About the same in scoring/FT% (awful) and biggest improvement only in rebounding

Butler?
Far worse fg% than LY
Far worse 3 Pt % than last year
increased scoring by a whopping 4 pts and played far more minutes to even get there
and about the same rebounds
he wouldn't even get honorable mention

Re: Most Improved Player?
Dragic might win it.
Even though he might not be the most improved guard on his own team. Dragic was a 15/7 guy last season. He's obviously improved, but more than Bledsoe?
[Note: Yes. I realize Bledsoe's injury makes it moot. I just thought it was interesting that both members of the Suns backcourt were worthy...]

Anthony Davis. Lance and Goran have an argument though. Davis is just dominating on both sides of the floor night in and night out now.

Davis wasn't a disaster his rookie season. But an injury and fewer minutes make his improvement look even better this season. (although he has improved defensively)
Re: Most Improved Player?
The injuries largely are the reason it looks like he's improved so much. I think Davis puts up slightly lesser numbers than this year if he stays healthy all last year.AbeVigodaLive wrote:gaskill15 wrote:Anthony Davis. Lance and Goran have an argument though.
