B) 45 minutes is no big deal and it isn't worth my time or energy to change it myself simply to save 35 minutes.

I guess you could add it to the list of my manly injuries, including broken fingers from not being able to catch a basketball, a bad back from falling off a ladder and foot and back pain from running on uneven pavement. Oh, and I also recently twisted my ankle walking across the finish line at a 5k race.
