Giannis - "right now - not focused on supermax deal"

That sounds ominous if I'm a Milwaukee fan.

He's only got till December 21 to sign or after the season.

How much more money could he earn (per season) if he signed a SuperMax vs. a regular max contract?

Too lazy to look it up exactly but it's a lot of money and I believe potentially an extra year, although there would be an opt out I would think to reup if there are no injuries at even more money.

I don't think the years matter. Heck, even elite guys coming off career-threatening injuries are getting max deals. And doesn't he get a huge bump at 10 years anyway?

So I'm curious when all is said and done... how much more he'd get with a 5-year SuperMax now vs. a 2 or 3 year Max... and then go the LeBron route after that with 1 and 2 year deals...

[Note: I'm too lazy to look. Probably too dumb to understand the fine details.]

He should stay in Milwaukee. That way he won't get exposed

Welcome to the Purple and Gold.

Arty probably thinks he's headed for the tiny town of Orlando.

Why would they need him when they have Vucevic and Gordon? Combined they’re twice the player Giannis is.

After LeBrons extension, Giannis would have to take a hue paycut...Doubtful...
