Me too. I have no idea how it would work either. Unless they find a way to dramatically reduce the price of electric cars, it's not going to happen.

I guess I just don't see why anyone would be against us as a nation finding a way to be cleaner with our energy. If California thinks they've found a path to move away from fossil fuels and help clean up the air, why would anyone fight that?

The government is taking away the God given right to pollute the hell of the planet. This a free country, it should be your own choice if you want to pollute the planet.../S
What do U think happens to the batteries of an electric car when it needs to be scrapped? Do U have any idea what is needed to dig up the resources to get the batteries? Where do U think the electricity comes from to charge the car? (Hint Coal and Gas).... Is it really less pollution? U may want to look into it!
Battery manufacturing and recycling is getting cleaner and there are clean alternatives for home electricity available too. You should look into it.

Even if that's true then what's your solution to make that leap? Do nothing?

Wrong. Current Tesla’s have 300-400 mile range and just 5% degradation per 100,000 miles. Next gen in just a year or two has 50% more range at 50% cheaper cost. $25k Tesla on the way for you broke trailer losers. $25k with no gas expense, no oil changes. Even you can afford that.

I put 1200 miles on my Tesla it’s first week, with repeated flooring to show off the 0-60. Only used a supercharger once, which filled me up in 30 minutes for $9 while I watched Netflix

No thanks... never mind the fact that the "brains" behind this radical idea is the brainless AOC, who claims "the world will end in 12 years" if her plan isn't implemented.
