Another brilliant all-around game from JOAKIM...

Post by thedangerouskitchen »

14 / 16 / 5 tonight, for the most complete big man in the NBA.
"Today's NBA is soft, the Defense is weak, and the rules 'really' favor the Offense."

"Lebron doesn’t guard for a full game and our game plan was to get him to play defense and he left me open all game."

Really fun game tonight. I absolutely LOVE super-mobile big man defenders, and he and Anthony Davis are probably the two best in the game today.

Yet you never hear this guy's name mentioned in MVP talks despite these CONSISTENT all around play seasons and the hard work he puts forth on the court. This guy has more work ethic than the rest of this primadonna league combined.

His type of game is what brings dynasties to teams. Rose/2nd Superstar-All Star/Noah has dynasty written all over it in the coming years

If only he had a superstar to lead him. Rose is done

Why not?

18 straight games with 10 or more boards.

Yet you don't hear a thing about it, unlike Durant's.

Davis has the goods, no question...

The Bulls are 9-4 since the Deng trade (after already being without Rose), and Noah is averaging 14/15/6 a game during that span, while anchoring the #2 Defense in the league.

If he continues to play at that level, and the Bulls finish with the 3rd seed in the East, it's not all that far-fetched to say Joakim deserves some votes for MVP... I don't see anyone catching Durant this year of course; however I don't see a whole lot of other players who have been more Valuable to their team than Noah is to the Bulls.

My opinion only, of course...
