You having TDKR above Batman Return kind of surprises me.

TDKR was a great movie in its own right, it just couldn’t live up to the hype of TDK. Batman Returns was kinda similiar, but it was just a good/decent movie.

Bane being a patsy in the same vein as The Mandorin in Iron Man 3 just does not sit right with me.

Batman went from cripple recluse that has to have a cane to walk, to getting a brace and kicking through brick pillars, to getting his back broken by Bane, to fixing his back in a hole in the ground prison in the middle of nowhere.

What a weird movie.

Exactly. And at the end he retires to Europe with his gal pal. Nolan really didn't care to do the Batman character justice which is why I find the trilogy to be pretty cringe, even if it was well made.
