I don't think I will be contributing much to "news discussions" or hot takes.

I don't think I keep up with the news much. I just have watched the films and like what I like and understand the universe much better.

Dr. Strange and Star-Lord are probably my most favorite characters.

In terms of the movies, I was surprised how much I liked Guardians 1&2, since I knew nothing about them. But I dug the team/ragtag energy and most of the humor. Cool stories as well. I'm assuming that Adam Warlock is going to be an opponent in GOTG 3? If so, is that why Thor is in the group now? To have a God-powered counter to Warlock?

I also have to give major props to Ant Man, who I grossly underestimated before getting into the universe. That guy is definitely useful and has heart for days. Very solid. Not someone who can carry a team, but definitely a *great* "glue guy".

I don't know where they're going with GotG3, things got messed around because they briefly fired and then re-hired the director over some re-surfaced pedo tweets so now they need to find a way to make Thor 4 chronologically *before* GotG3 (despite the fact that Thor clearly joins the Guardians at the end of Endgame) before neatly re-inserting Thor into the Guardians for GotG3 by the end of Thor 4.

Adam Warlock is almost definitely happening but I don't know what they're planning to do with that character so I don't know if he's necessarily a Thor foil or visce versa. There's a good chance we get Beta Ray Bill in there.

It looks like Ant-Man will be a floater like Hulk moving forward so no Ant-Man 3, which is fine by me.
