The end of Paul Ryan alone makes the evening a big win for President Trump and the nation. All the RINOs and Never-Trumpers are getting cleared out. He couldn't get a lot done legislatively the last 2 years because of them, so it was little different in that respect than the Democrats controlling the House anyway. Now the swamp is being drained more and more, and President Trump will continue the takeover and rebuild of the Republican party.
Is this what dems meant by #bluewave (lmfao)? If the end game was always to remove Trump, how are they any closer to achieving that by what happened today? Gridlocking congress for the next two years only further exposes their incompetence, meanwhile Trump continues to trend up among minorities nicely leading into 2020 as we continue to poach (blexit, mexit, lgbtxit, etc).

Um yeah. Significant margin in the popular vote, so much so that it was able to overcome gerrymandering and take the house by a healty margin. The suburbs turned on Trump in heavy waves and Dems got good turnout in a midterm year which has basically never happened before. Setting modern turnout records.
This was a massive rebuke of Trump. If he was up for the Presidency this year, he would have lost due to the rust belt states turning on him.
Biggest move of the night might be 1.5 million people gaining the right to vote in Florida though. 20% of the black population of Florida just gained the right to vote. Not a good sign for Trump as the races this year were as toss up as a toss up could be.
