All week local radio been hyping this up as "The LA Bowl-the battle for LA". GTFO
Rivalries are created organically through division rivalries or repeated appearances in title matches (Lakers-Celtics). They continue to try this shit with Dodgers-Angels, but the people are smarter than that, and won't be this easily duped (unless you're one of those typical dumb mexicans with a generic interest in sports).
Just stop it already. The Rams and Chargers will only play each other twice per decade and play in separate conferences, just stop.

Moving here was a mistake. OC or Vegas would have been better.
This is RamsLand.
They really should've went OC. It's a completely separate market that would've seemlessly absorbed the San Diego base. They're upper crust in fan support when you see how well the Angels and Ducks relatively do.

There realistically isn't anywhere in the OC for the Chargers though...El Toro is pretty much spoken for, and most of the cities here simply don't want the added traffic...
They need to make up with San Diego and go back home where they belong...
Local rivalries work at their best when there is some geographical distance between the two teams. LA vs OC, Bronx vs Queens, Manhattan vs Brooklyn, North Side vs South Side, etc. When the Chargers move into that Inglewood stadium, they'll be second-class tenants to a team that has decades more history in the city than they do. Pretty much why the Clippers are moving to their own venue away from Staples Center.

They could make El Toro work. There is still a lot of space. Stadium in Anaheim could work too.
